GX300

27 MHz Marine/CB Transceiver

The GX300 is an innovative new design incorporating both 27 MHz Marine Band and 27 MHz Citizen Band transceivers into one unit.

The GX300 is designed from the ground up to match GME's entire range of Marine radios which also include the GX600 VHF Marine transceiver and the GR100 Marine AM/FM stereo receiver.

Available in either Black or White, the GX300 allows the user to easily switch between Marine and CB modes to suit the installation.

With features such as Memory Channel Scan, Emergency/Priority Channel Recall, Dual Watch, Large Back-lit Display, very effective Noise Limiter and waterproof design (IP55) the GX300 covers virtually all aspects of 27 MHz communication on land or sea in one unit. The front mounted speaker provides loud clear reception and the channel controls on the microphone make operation easy.

The GX300 is supplied with a gimbal mounting bracket, but with a depth of just 70mm, the GX300 is also perfectly suited to Flush Mounting (using the optional flush mount kit).

The GME Electrophone GX600 is our latest marine VHF transceiver. Designed and built in our Gladesville factory in Sydney, it represents the latest in performance and manufacturing techniques.

The GX600 offers a range of advanced features in a compact waterproof case. Standard features include programmable channel scanning, both Dual watch and Triple Watch functions, and two user programmable channel memories.

The GX600 is designed to compliment the GME GR100 AM/FM radio in size and design providing a symetrical fitout to any vessel's instrument panel.

The GX600's rugged diecast powder coated chassis and waterproof case seals ensure maximum protection from the harsh marine environment and the slim design will suit almost every installation requirement.

VHF Marine Transceiver

Standard equipment on the GX600D is a full function keypad microphone with an extremely simple ‘mobile phone style’ operating system, ensuring operators for every skill level can access the full benefit of the radio’s extensive feature list.

In many world areas, Europe and the USA in particular, all fixed mount VHF radios new are required to include a basic DSC capability.

The 25 Watt GME GX600D however, goes well beyond the basic safety requirement and when interfaced with a GPS receiver will be able to transmit crucial vessel information, including position and the nature of the distress call whether it be fire, flooding, collision, grounding, capsize, sinking, adrift, abandoning, piracy or man overboard. In an emergency, one push of the “red button” will send an automated digital distr45ess alert containing your position and Maritime Mobile Service Identity (MMSI) number to rescue facilities and other DSC-equipped vessels in the area.

Competing products in this price range employ a single receiver to monitor both voice and data, the GX600D comes complete with a second receiver so both voice and data are monitored independently ensuring the user will never miss a DSC call.

The GX600D DSC radio also provides boaters with a valuable range of non-emergency capabilities, permitting communicati8on with another boat or group of boats using individual or group MMSI numbers. If interfaced to a GPS equipped chart plotter the radio can send, receive and display each vessel’s position as well.

GR100

Marine AM/FM Receiver

The GR100 is a unique marine receiver combining a four band AM/FM/SW & LW broadcast tuner with a 55 channel VHF FM marine band receiver. With its UV Stabilised and waterproof case, it has been designed specifically for use in the marine environment and is suitable for installation in all vessels from small runabouts to large cruisers. Its marine qualities also make it suitable for use in dusty 'outback' applications.

The GR100 is an extremely versatile unit. The standard AM receiver and FM stereo tuner provides entertainment and music while the 55 channel VHF marine receiver allows you to monitor coastal weather and safety services as well as your friends VHF transmissions. With the inclusion of LW and SW bands for international weather and information services and both International and USA VHF marine channel allocations (plus 10 NOAA weather channels in USA mode) the GR100 truly has world wide appeal.

The GR100 has a built-in monitor speaker for use in simple 'stand-alone' installations yet provides full quality FM stereo sound (in FM mode) when connected to a pair of stereo speakers via the speaker outlets provided on the rear panel.
